Our network is located within one of the most energy efficient data centers in the country, using renewable wind energy to both power AND cool each and every server! By partnering with only the greenest and meanest data center out there our Gorilla and his team sleep easy at night while doing their part to conserve the environment.

So, just how much of a difference does it make anyway?

It is estimated that 3-4% of the world's energy consumption comes from running data centers. If you consider the costs and equipment involved from generators to cooling systems it is estimated that each server has the same climate impact as a 15 mpg vehicle!

By using renewable energy to both power AND cool, our partners (and us) are investing in twice as much renewable energy, on a per server basis, as other "green" hosts who only use renewable energy to power their servers.

It all adds up to the equivalent of:

• Removing 444 cars from the road for a year, or
• Powering 321 homes with clean energy for a year, or
• Saving 5,654 barrels of oil, or
• Protecting 551 acres of forest for a year (our favorite!)
